That’s why Joan has partnered up with some outstanding food producers and farmers whose appreciation of organic and biodynamic practices, and respect for animal and environmental well-being echo her own. Close partnerships with producers enable the Pope to cook with the best produce and work closely with growers who “tailor-make” just for her.

Daytime means your choice of all-day breakfasts, sweet delights or perhaps one of the daily specials with a glass of wine or a spritzer with our home made cordial. Don’t ever think papal ingredients are predictable – little touches like our bacon, yoghurt and maple syrup, that are beautifully smoked by Melbourne Pantry, make for unique flavours. The Pacdon Park free-range pork sausage is no ordinary banger, and same goes for the eggs from Milawa. The sandwiches are killer – try ‘The Cuban’ pulled-pork sanga, winner of World’s Best at the Sandwichship Championship 2012. Nightime saw the return of our ever so popular Summer Camp Cookouts. We are taking a wee break from stoking the flames but will let you know when our beloved Matt will be taking his culinary clout outdoors again in the backyard garden, armed with a fire pit, an open BBQ and the best seasonal produce on offer.
