Fancy a road trip?

As part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, you are invited to join Matt Wilkinson at Scrub Hill 1869 to salute food sovereignty with local farmers in Newlyn (between Daylesford and Ballarat).

It’s no secret that Matt Wilkinson’s obsession is with growing, sourcing and presenting the best tasting produce he can, and appreciates the importance of farmers and food producers to making his gastronomic plans a reality. When the lovely Jenni and Jennie from Scrub Hill 1869 approached us to be a part of the event, we jumped at the chance!

The menu is chock-a-block with the best produce the region has to offer; think cured meats from Salt Kitchen Charcuterie, the best veggies courtesy of Angelica Organic Farm, trout from Tuki Trout Farm and some plonk from Latta Vino……. just to name a few.the producers
